sometimes leaders have to be flexibel..

when we have to make a new team with a new colour..

when we have to blend many different colours; without insist to make a new colour..

a leader should..

a leader should absolutely knows, who is him/herself, and who are people that he/she leads

a leader should absolutely willing to evaluate him/herself, and people that he/she leads

a leader should observe him/herself. ang people that he/she leads

a leader should learn more, and makes people that he/she leads learn more

a leader should control his/her emotion, and control people that he/she leads

a leader should….him/herself, and ……. people that he/she leads..

the conclusion is :

a leader should manage him/herself and people that he/she leads :)

are you a good leader ?

No Follower, No Leader

Okay, since Wildan said that this tumblelog uses English language and we have to use English to post something here, so I’ll do it. But please notice that MY ENGLISH IS BAD. So, let me apologize deeply before I post this if you find false grammar using.

Ehem.

Let us begin.

Imagine two foods. (Why do I start this post with imaging ?? Nah, just follow it). Just say it A and B. Imagine A is something you like and B is something you dislike even you will do anything but eat B. Got it ? Okay.

Now, imagine food B. One day you were given B by a handsome/beautiful man/woman. It served with a golden plate, with diamonds at every edges, surrounded by a very fragrant flowers from heaven, with a beautiful carving in the middle of the plate and of course, with a golden spoon and fork. What a nice plate isn’t it ? But remember, YOU DON’T LIKE THAT FOOD.

Next, imagine A. Imagine you were given A by just someone you even don’t know, not a handsome or beautiful one. Served just by a plastic plate, no diamond, no flower, no carving, no spoon. It even had a big crack in one side. But remember again, YOU LIKE THAT FOOD VERY MUCH.

Now, which one would you eat ?

If I were you, I would eat A.

Now, if the food is a leader and the plate is it’s capability, people will follow A. Why ? because they LIKE HIM. People won’t follow someone who they dislike even if his skill is wonderful. Beside, people will follow someone who they like although he can’t do much things.

I don’t say we don’t have to have skills to be a leader. A leader needs skills, but being loved and believed is more important. People won’t follow you if they don’t like you right ?

So for you who want to be a leader (president maybe ?), try to get people symphaty and make them believe in you. Because YOU ARE NOT A LEADER UNLESS YOU HAVE A FOLLOWER.

Planning contains certain activites like

Vision: A nonspecific directional and motivational guidance to the entire organization. This usually comes from the top management

Mission: The existence purpose of the organization. This explains the scope of the business and uniquely identifies the business house from similar businesses. The mission reflects organizatonal culture and ethics

Objectives: These refine the mission and address key issues like market standing, innovation, productivity, physical and financial resources, profitability, management and work force performance and efficiency.

Goals: These are rational estimates of anticipated results.The goals are usually Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Rewarding, and Timed (SMART).

There are a myriad of planning techniques among which “Strategic planning”, is very important. It encompasses certain parameters like Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) which help in formulating strategies appropriate for task completion.
